Al-Mustansiriya Journal of Arab and International Studies  (ISSN: 2070- 898X) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Al-Mustansiriya Center for Arab and International Studies at Mustansiriya University. It focuses on publishing research and studies addressing Iraqi, Arab, and international issues in the fields of politics, law, economics, public policy, crisis management, and history. It operates within the regulations of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and is among the recognized peer-reviewed journals for academic promotions and research endorsement. The first issue of the journal was published in 1992 under the title "Middle East Journal" after the center's establishment in 1992. The journal's title was changed to Al-Mustansiriya Journal of Arab and International Studies starting with issue number 24 in 2007. The journal is indexed on the Iraqi academic peer-reviewed journals database  Crossref.

          The journal publishes four issues annually in Arabic. Researchers submitting their work to the Al-Mustansiriya Journal of Arab and International Studies must adhere to the scientific methodology and ethical standards for publication and citation established by the Committee on the Application of Principles of Publication (COPE) for the use of other researchers' work. Furthermore, they must obtain the necessary permissions when using data and information from other researchers.
