Abstract:
Unity projects between Arab countries constituted an important historical event in the last century amidst many challenges facing Arab countries. The unity between Egypt and Syria was an achievement of the Arab desire for Arab solidarity. However, this unity was in the short period extending from 1958 to 1961 an actual experience of practical unity between two regions that was not destined to be truly successful. Several factors contributed to fueling the spirit of desire to abort unity.
