Abstract
This research deals with the provisions of the model contracts for the sale of crude oil from the obligations of the seller and the buyer, as the model contracts for the sale of crude oil balance between the parties to the contractual relationship, which are the seller of crude oil or the exporter and the buyer of crude oil. Since the exporter and importer are from different countries and conclude commercial deals to buy and sell crude oil, we are faced with international maritime commercial contracts in which the sale is crude oil.
The provisions of the Vienna Convention of 1980 deal with the model contracts for the sale of crude oil by considering them as contracts for the international sale of goods from the obligations of the contracting parties, sellers and buyers.
This research deals with the obligations of the seller (exporter) in the model contracts for the sale of crude oil in the first section, and the obligations of the buyer (importer) in the model contracts for the sale of crude oil in the second section.
Keywords: Model contracts for the sale of crude oil - Obligations of the exporter - Obligations of the importer - International commercial contracts.
